I am building a stablecoin payments processor that will help reduce the fee, time and friction for cross-border payments. We are a team with startup scars and big-tech scale. Combining the experience of handling tech for payments, web3 engineering and crypto trading, unlocked a secret hidden in plain sight that can be used to process payments really profitably!
Hi Ruben, read your note on VC corner. I recently joined Substack.
I’m a senior UX designer with a CS + HCI background, obsessed with turning complexity into clarity.
After a decade designing for global enterprises, I’m building Polymetis.AI—an intelligent growth app that helps people compound success across life’s key areas.
It blends behavioral science, emotional design, and AI to replace scattered wellness tools with one holistic, habit-forming system.
Think Calm meets Duolingo—but for your whole life. 🌱
Hey Ruben , saw your note in the VC Corner newsletter!
My team is building medflow.ai an AI platform that automates medical workflows (scribing, billing, scheduling). Just launched our demo. Would love to see if it could be a fit for Speedrun — mind if I share more? I also just applied for the speedrun program and would love any tips/advice.
1.5 year from launch in 2024 passing 2.7 M in ARR 2025 now - 1.5 M aggregate for January 2026 worth of enterprise contracts. Never raised seed round. You will be the first to get in on the action.
We rebuilt the global engineering supply chain with AI.
Legacy nearshore vendors optimize resumes.
We optimize cognition.
Axiom Cortex replaces guesswork with scientific evaluation -> and our platform operationalizes that across hiring, compliance, onboarding, and engineering execution.
Here is the part that lines up with what Speedrun looks for.
We aren’t another AI sourcing tool. We are a research company that turned neuro-psychometric NLP into a functioning infrastructure layer for global engineering teams.
For the last four years we have been running a cognitive study across Latin America -> thousands of technical interviews, each transcript broken down across 44 reasoning signals. We did the work because AI erased resume signal overnight. Everyone suddenly looked “senior.” Everyone suddenly shipped the same perfect portfolio. And CTOs told us the same thing: they hired people who passed coding tests but failed reality.
That was the pain point.
The messy, unsexy one.
The one no one in the industry wanted to face.
So we built the Nearshore IT Copilot — a full-stack system that identifies, vets, predicts, and stabilizes engineering teams based on how they actually think under load, not how they describe themselves. Performance drift dropped. Onboarding cycles collapsed. US teams gained day-one predictability. And LATAM engineers with real cognitive sharpness finally surfaced above the noise.
We are not a nearshore vendor.
We platformed an industry.
A16Z backs founders who turn a broken system into an unfair advantage.
That’s what we built -> a way to measure engineering cognition with scientific precision and operate a cross-border talent engine as if it were a single organism.
If this aligns, happy to share how the system works and where the research is published. We can send the science, not the slogans.

Thank you for all the value you & the team add.
We’re building Churchstream, the first AI-native operating system for churches. Most churches still run on outdated tech, leaving them with overpriced staff costs, 67–90% churn, and billions in lost giving every year. Our insight is simple: while ministry work can be deeply meaningful, the operational side is highly repetitive and rule-based—the exact kind of work AI can take. We’re designing an OS that gives churches every tool they need to operate—and embedding a horizontal AI layer that lets pastors and staff complete entire projects or tasks with a simple prompt.
In just the past month, we’ve finished our MVP, signed 3 paying churches (in addition to 6 pilots) and are in active discussions with a network of 13k+ churches.
Each member of our team has 10+ years of deep domain expertise and experience shaped by this space. We've essentially lived our ICP - informing every decision we make in both product dev and GTM.
Would love your thoughts on our approach, and if it resonates, a referral into the program would mean a lot.
Love this! More substack lives ;)
Yeah!

Great video guys, so cool Substack is doing this!
We'll be sending our application soon for supervisible.com.
Thank you
