The best thing about Bending Spoons is that they are teaching us that you don’t really need innovation to succeed in consumer tech. You can take a once-successful app, revamp it with features every competitor has, raise the price, and succeed again.

The recruiting coordinator test shows character and provides other input, and that matters more than years on a resume. The catch with loading up young hires is who coaches them while you do it.

I believe he’s right about the young graduates; that is how I learned too. Every move as a young manager offered invaluable learning opportunities; I was a sponge, absorbing all I could. My open question is what they will practice once AI takes over the junior work they used to learn from. It seems Bending Spoons keeps some of it for them on purpose. Smart.
