The capital barrier has fallen, but the planning burden hasn't.

For Indian salaried professionals, the real cost is leaving EPF, employer health cover, and a predictable salary. I keep seeing late starters assume a startup will outpace their retirement corpus — it rarely does.

The solo founder path works best as a side hustle first: validate while keeping the day job. Before leaping, build a runway of 12-18 months of expenses, not just product costs.
